Anxiety and low mood
Maybe you are thinking through every possibility, finding it hard to switch off, or noticing that things you used to manage feel heavier lately.
Counselling in Port Coquitlam and online across BC
I'm Daniel Haddad. I work with people facing anxiety, low mood, relationship difficulties, family pressure, and changes they did not expect.
My training is in marriage and family therapy. That means we can look at what is happening for you, and at the relationships, experiences, and circumstances that may be part of it.

What brings people to counselling
These are some of the concerns I work with. You do not need to fit neatly into one category to get in touch.
Maybe you are thinking through every possibility, finding it hard to switch off, or noticing that things you used to manage feel heavier lately.
You keep having the same argument, have grown apart from someone important, or feel unsure how to speak up about what you need.
You care about the people in your life, but their expectations, your own needs, and the way you were raised do not always fit neatly together.
A loss, health concern, new responsibility, or unexpected change has left you trying to adjust to a life that looks different.
I'll ask questions, listen closely, and work with you to understand what has brought you here. That includes what you are feeling, what is happening in your relationships, and what you have already tried.
Some sessions involve talking through a situation that is unfolding right now. Others involve noticing patterns that have been around for years. When it fits, we can work on practical ways to approach things differently.
Whether you come alone or with someone else, the work is something we decide on together.
